Sadly we lost one of our gerbils during the night, it seems that Bob might have suffered a stroke as he was very poorly yesterday and was wobbling and falling over although he was still managing to get around and even managed to bite me twice.
We picked a nice spot in the garden to bury him and my son was quite upset as the gerbils are his pets. Hopefully we gave Bob a decent life since we adopted him and his two brothers from the New Arc about 15 months ago.
RIP Bob, we'll miss you.

Sadly now we have lost Thomas our white gerbil. It was most likely a scent glant tumour as he appears to have been nibbling underneath his belly but it looks like he might have had other lumps too.
If we get a break in the weather we'll bury him up in the garden beside his brother Bob who we lost last year.
Poor George is left on his own now so we'll have to pay him some extra attention so that he doesn't get too lonely.
RIP Thomas, we'll miss you. Say hello to Bob, I'm sure he'll be glad to see you again.

Sadly now we have lost George who was our last remaining gerbil. He has now gone to be reunited with his brothers Bob & Thomas at Rainbow Bridge.
He passed away during the night after we noticed him lying down in his cage hardly moving. He must have been a good age as by my posts we must have adopted him mid 2007.
RIP George, we'll miss you. Say hello to Bob & Thomas for us. xxx
