Hi Miffy - Welcome to the forum. Glad to have another member who also has more than her fair share of pets!
What area are you in? If you are near to us, feel free to call in for a cuppa and a look around - I promise you wont have to go home with any new pets (well except perhaps a gerbil or eight) - nooooo not really. If you have seen our site you will know we had 51 delivered recently, and had two more babies born yesterday. Hmmmm wonder how many we will have by the end of the month.
Anyway, nice to have you with us, look forward to reading your posts.
Pauline

Thank-you I would love to come and see you and all your charges. I live in Insch. Once I get around to it I just might be able to furnish you with a couple of cages that I used to keep my rats in who have all now departed this mortal coil. I started with two and ended up with twenty five that was the biggest shock. I mangaged to home most of the but I had three left plus the parents which i separated faster than you can say nibbles.
Hope to see you soon Miffy2

Hi I tried to find your place the other day but didn,t see any signs, have the Gerbils eaten them have the rabbits nibbled them away because they are so happy at the ark they don't want to leave who knows. We will try to find you another day or I'll end up walking round some castle or other as is my husbands favourite pastime.
regards Miffy2

Hi I am really fed up, I check the message board when ever I can but nobody seems to be using it which is such a shame. Please post a message it doesn't have to be much just a hello would be nice. I wish my pets could use a computer I bet they would to talk to me.

Hi Miffy, sorry you didnt manage to find us. It was a "white van" that took our signs out, not any of the creatures ... honest! We have been trying to make some more over the weekend, but keep getting distracted with other stuff. If you are around the area and cant find us, just give us a quick ring and we can talk you in, its not hard to find once you know where it is - if you get my drift.
The message board is horribly quiet, we get so many visitors to the site, but not many people seem happy to chat which is an awful shame.
I will make sure I get on more often to post whats happening here, perhaps that will encourage more posters.
Hope to get to meet you soon Pauline

Hi I came across the site while trying to find if there were any guinea pigs needing rehomed near Aberdeen. I already have two house rabbits and a cat. There are no big problems between the cat and the rabbits as Toby is a scaredy-cat. He swats at the rabbits if they go near him (and they do seem to go up to him a lot) but he runs away very quickly! The rabbits don't seem to mind about the cat at all. How long does it take to get from Aberdeen to New Arc? We don't have a car but sometimes we hire one so we would be able to come out at some point if there are any guinea pigs needing homes. I see you have guinea pigs miffy. Do you recommend them? I love the sounds they make but I have to admit that I don't know very much about them, except for some research on the internet. I love the rabbits and I didn't know much about them until I got them. I thought they were just cute docile animals who sat and did nothing. I can hear you laughing from here! Now I know they are so much better than that!!! Is there anything to match watching rabbits do binkies? I tried to film them but I kept laughing so the film is all wobbly Thanks for any advice you can give me! Katherine

Hello. I talked to Keith today about hoping to rehome one of your bunnies. We got two bunnies five years ago and exactly 1 week ago one of them passed away, very suddenly. He was most beautiful and I miss him. But this is about the other bunny that's still with us and wants a new friend to cuddle up with. Would Flopsy be a good partner? I'll keep in touch and will take my daughters for a visit. Perhaps I can give Katherine a lift there as well. I shall now see if I can post this without having logged in.

Hi Katherine and Jackie - nice to have you join us!
Katherine we do have guineas needing new homes - they do make a brilliant noise dont they. They are friendly little creatures, who soon learn to "sound" when they recognise your voice, and all of ours fib and pretend they havent had their greens or carrots and chatter away asking for more - greedy things!
Sounds like your rabbits have a lovely life - funny how you expect them to be one way then discover they are sooooo much better than you thought they would be.
To get to the New Arc takes around 30-40 minutes from Aberdeen, do come for a visit when you get time (although suggest you wait for the risk of snow to disappear, yuk).
Jackie - hi - Keith told me about your call earlier - sorry to hear about your loss, so sad when you lose a friend. Nice of you to offer to give Katherine a lift, I'll leave that for the two of you to discuss. Flopsy has already been rehomed, I really must get new photos on the website - its a never ending task as so many come and go on such a regular basis. I admit as much as I love seeing one of our "gang" leave for their new lives, I still get sad every time, as they all have different personalities and I miss each and every one. Still ... we get great emails from bunnies tellings us how they are getting on (amazing how well they can type considering!).
Well hope to hear more from you both soon, and look forward to meeting you. Pauline

Hi I love my guineapigs they do a little dance for me when they get a treat they really like and the jump and boing all over the place. Curly is my favourite as she waits by the hutch door and gives it a little push so she can get at the food faster. They like to hide in the hay when I have cleaned them out and eat their way out of the pile. Do get a guineapig they are so comical and so full of character and very easy to look after.
Pauline this weather must be making things really hard for you and Keith it is 3.15am and the snow is falling really fast and laying too, I just hope it goes by the time I have to drive home at 7.00am. I had better go and earn my keep . Regards Miffy2

Brrrrr, you're right Miffy, its hard going when its horrible outside, but the animals still need fed and watered etc. so on with the waterproofs and various layers (no fashion parades here). Still its been much better today, except we have just discovered this evening we have run out of heating oil - eeeeek, so glad we have got an open fire at least. What job do you do, working such hours?

Hi Miffy, just wondering if you had decided to try some paintings yet? We had a really early start yesterday as the children needed to leave at 4am to get to the airport. What a beautiful start to the day it was - I did think the same as you, if only I could get that painted, but it wouldnt look anything like it by the time I had finished!
Hope you are all keeping well and look forward to meeting those of you we havent yet met, soon.
Best wishes Pauline
