My mum and I handed over dexter to you on friday and I just wanted to say thank you for taking him in. It was a hard decision for mum to make, but having seen the location and the animals (especially the other feral cats you've turned around) we both left feeling he was in a good place...
How is Dexter getting on? I hope he is at least venturing out of his teepee bed! I suspect the noises and smells will seem very alien to him knowing how cautious a wee man he is ... but I'm sure with your patience and caring he'll adjust and become part of the troupe of furries soon enough...
Thanks again, it was lovely to meet you Pauline... hope keith found those abandonded cygnets ...

Hi there, I shall of course be giving your mum a full update on Dexter in due course, once he has had a little more time to settle, but yes he has ventured out of his little teepee a couple of times to hide behind the barrrel and see what is making all the noise! He is a very nervous little chap and will take some time to get to know us and the animals here, but there is no rush. He is eating well and using his litter tray which is good, and although he does hiss at me when I go to visit him, he is letting me stroke him and once all the ducks and hens are put away at night, he relaxes a little, and even did a bit of a purr for me last night! He'll get there, given time.
Keith managed to find four of the cygnets which are now safely back with us, they are very sweet!
Thanks for coming all the way to bring Dexter, and do assure your mum he will be much loved here and will be a happy boy once he gets to know whats what
Best wishes Pauline
