Hi there, For the last 6 months I have been completing online surveys. You get points for each survey and once you have enough, you can redeem them for a whole variety of things. One thing you can redeem them for is money in your Paypal account e.g. a survey is 80 to 120 points and redeeming 1150 points gets you £10 in your Paypal account. This would be an easy way to donate money to the New Arc without leaving your house. This seems to be a reputable company, I got the lead from 'Martin lewis Money Saving Forum'. The company details are uk.lightspeedpanel.com/index.htmlI live a wee bit away (by Keith) and am also looking for ideas to help.

Sorry about that Naomi and Pauline, I registered by following a lead, but I have emailed them too. With regards to other ideas, I live in Glen of Newmill and have a bit of space if anyone wants to do a one off fete, archery lessons, painting lessons etc to raise money. I can supply tea and coffee. The only snag is we are accessed by a single track road.

Just thought of another idea, what about a small online auction/sale of unwanted goods. The buyer can pay with Paypal to New Arc or pay Keith and Pauline direct with cash or cheque. If Pauline okays this, I'd like to start with 3 packets Nicorette patches (7mg Step 3) +4 loose - 25 patches in total. Also box of nicorette chewing gum full strength. A strip of 3 has been removed leaving 27 sealed pieces.
If this is okay to auction/sell, I can post out to the buyer.

Just wondered how Naomi and Pauline got on with the online survey. I also noticed that a local charity is doing some fundraising this year which is including bag packing at supermarkets. Does anyone know how to get this organised as the New Arc is definetely a worthy cause. I can help out in the Moray area if anyone has any ideas how to get this organised.

Hya Working away at the surveys they are sending - some are ok, some quite ridiculous but if they earn money, thats all fine! We havent tried bag packing, but one of our friends does it regularly for her local supermarket for their charity. She said you just approach the supermarket you are interested in, get a form and they will allocate a date for you. You will probably need our charity details which you can get from the website, and if you need a letter from us, we will happily send this in.
