Please can anyone give a home to my four chickens. 2 Hens and 2 handsome roosters (one the son of the other I think). Having to move away for work and have tried everything to find a new home but to no avail. If I can't find someone to take them by Saturday then I will have to have them put to sleep. I just can't take them and I just can't leave them. I am so distraught. They all get along together fine, no clipped wings. Just very funny characters who trundle about free range and bicker with each other and make me laugh as well as producing super eggs. Please can someone take care of them for me. I don't know how old they are because the person we bought the house from left them here for 8 weeks after she moved without caring from them and they were in a terrible state when we found them. I have lovingly looked after them since and they are all fine and happy to the best of my knowledge. Please help give this lovely little group a new home ASAP. Many thanks, Sarah

Hi, We collected this beautiful group of 2 boys and 2 girls. They have settled in well in their temporary home and are a very close group. Could anyone out there offer this group a loving home. We are very limited in space and it would be an ideal situation for them to be able to have a larger area than we can offer for them to roam about. Pet homes only. If it is just the one boy you are looking for to keep your hens safe, I am sure the New Arc will be more than happy to allow you to adopt one of their boys.

The 2 boys and 2 girls have now found a lovely new home. They will be living with Eileen who runs a B&B, so plenty of treats for them. I would recommend, if you can, have a thingyerel amongst your girls. They are great for protecting your girls and keeping them together. And, contrary to belief, they don't all waken up the neighbourhood at 3 in the morning, some are quite subdued. They are characters. If you can accomodate a boy, it's worth having a word with Pauline or Keith who can help out.
